In April 2023, we completely dismantled and packed up the previous exhibition.

The walls were painted black throughout, with the ceiling still to follow.

Large display cases, which were donated to us by the Museum der Natur Hamburg, were brought into the exhibition hall and positioned.

Thanks to this support, we were given the opportunity to redesign

our “Journey through the history of the earth”

and, above all, to make it barrier less.

Our team redesigned the display cases and developed ideas for the presentation of the exhibits.

The team is focusing on sustainability and upcycling when equipping the display cases.

Old objects are given new tasks and plastics are avoided.

The TU Bergakademie Freiberg kindly provided us with hundreds of wooden plinths,

which have been refurbished and are now replacing the usual PVC stands.

Wood and metal are used and corn starch for 3D printing
